regarding The White Stripes.

The White Stripes finally broke up today. Well, really, they put out the official announcement today. The band hasn't toured or released new material in years, and frontman/guitarist Jack White has been busy in two other bands, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs. They were sloppy and sometimes Jack could be a wiener, but I grew to appreciate the band over the years. Time to bust out White Blood Cells and Icky Thump.
